We are incredibly proud of Sarah Wangu, Surina Kasaku, Jay Mwaniki, and Keisha Kasaku for their outstanding achievements in debate and public speaking across regional and international platforms!
From reaching the Main Cup Semi-Finals at the OxBridge East Africa Junior Schools Debate Championship, to being selected into the Kenya National Junior Debate Team training squad for the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) 2026, these young debaters continue to shine.
Highlights include:
• Surina & Sarah – Main Cup Semi-Finalists (Senior Category) at the Junior Speaker’s Challenge
• Jay & Keisha – Bronze Cup winners
• Jay Mwaniki – Winner, Junior Public Speaking
• Keisha Kasaku – Runner-up
Special recognition to Sarah Wangu for earning 12 medals and 7 trophies at the World Scholars Cup Nairobi Round through independent registration and qualifying for the International Round in Japan!
In addition, all four students have been selected to attend the Leaders Academy Camp (20th–24th April 2026, USIU Nairobi), a 5-day intensive programme focused on leadership, public speaking and critical thinking.
