Books & Beyond: Inspiring Change, One Book at a Time

We proudly celebrate Surina Kasaku (8.1) and Keisha Kasaku (7.3) on being featured in the Daily Nation on 19 February 2026 for their inspiring initiative, Books and Beyond.

Through six months of dedication, the sisters designed a fundraising website, mobilised book donations from the Premier Academy community, and established a fully equipped library at Kathonzweni Primary School in Makueni County—transforming learners’ break time into a vibrant reading culture.

From renovating and furnishing the space to officially handing over the library on 14 February 2026, their impact is already shaping young futures. Inspired by William Kamkwamba’s story, they have since launched a second library project at Vitale Primary School.

Congratulations, Surina and Keisha, for embodying leadership, empathy and service, and for making Premier Academy proud.
