Pushap Raj Soni - Director of Studies

Welcome to the Academic Division of Premier Academy, where excellence is nurtured and expected.

As Director of Studies, I lead a team of dedicated educators committed to ensuring every learner’s journey is defined by curiosity, critical thinking, and achievement. Our curriculum challenges the intellect while fostering creativity, collaboration, and confidence, the traits of a global citizen.

Education at Premier Academy goes beyond textbooks; it is a lifelong voyage of discovery. Through well-structured programmes, students are guided to question, explore, and innovate, preparing them to excel in a dynamic world.

Here, academic rigour blends with pastoral care, ensuring every student feels supported and inspired to realise their potential as we uphold the Academy’s proud legacy of excellence and holistic growth.

Kindergarten School (Playgroup, Nursery & Reception)

Curriculum Overview:

Our Kindergarten program serves as the fertile soil in which the seeds of lifelong learning are sown. Drawing inspiration from the time-honoured principles of the Montessori Method and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we cultivate a hybrid curriculum that is both stimulating and nurturing—designed to awaken curiosity and foster holistic development in our youngest learners.

Through the use of thoughtfully crafted teaching aids, the curriculum invites children to engage deeply with their environment, nurturing a sense of purpose, self-respect, and mutual regard. Whether working independently or collaboratively, each child is encouraged to explore, discover, and grow at their own rhythm.

The Montessori approach, a cornerstone of our philosophy, dismantles rigid academic silos and hierarchical learning structures. Instead, it promotes organic, self-directed growth across cognitive, emotional, social, and physical domains—allowing children to flourish as whole individuals.

In tandem, we offer structured lessons and purposeful activities that introduce foundational skills in Literacy, Numeracy, and essential life competencies. These early experiences are designed to instil confidence, responsibility, reflection, innovation, and active engagement— the Cambridge Learner Attributes and qualities that will serve as the roots of resilience and the wings of future success.

Curriculum Overview:

Our Preparatory Section curriculum is a tapestry woven with threads of both local relevance and the rigorous standards of Key Stages 1 and 2 of the Cambridge Curriculum. It is designed not merely as a path, but as a vibrant garden where young minds are cultivated with care and intention.

Within this garden, the seeds of human values are sown alongside the roots of conceptual understanding. Learners are encouraged to become explorers—charting new territories through planning, investigation, and experimentation. The curriculum serves as both compass and map, guiding students as they navigate the landscapes of knowledge and character.

To ensure the holistic, 360-degree development of every learner, we offer a rich array of co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities.
